Umami Burger Burger
WITH TOMATOES, PICKLES, AND MAYO
Sometimes all you need is a juicy burger.

Ingredients
  • 4 x Umami Burger
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 x brioche buns (toasted)
  • 1 large tomato (sliced into 1 cm slices)
  • ½ red onion (thinly sliced)
  • 4-6 pickles (thinly sliced)
  • ¼ of Iceberg lettuce (thinly shredded)
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • hot sauce (optional) 
SERVES 4 / TAKES 15 MINUTES
preparation
  1. Remove the defrosted Umami Burger from the packaging.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Add the Umami Burger and cook for 3 minutes on each side, until nicely browned. Remove from the pan.
  3. Spread ketchup on the bottom half and mayo on the top half of the buns.
  4. Build the burger by layering the bottom half of the bun, iceberg lettuce, tomato slices, Umami Burger, red onion, gherkins, and the top half of the bun.
